HELP W/ VECTORS PLEASE!! Best Answer to the most helpful!?

Physics (Vectors): (I need the math but a graph too if you can!! THANKS) Help me with any of ALL of them but please help! thank you

3. A yacht is tackling into the wind on a zigzag path. On the 1st leg of the course, the yacht has a displacement of 12km at 84 degrees East of North. After the 2nd leg has been completed, the yacht's resultant displacement is 15km at 23 degrees East of North. Determine the magnitude and direction of the 2nd leg of the course.

4. An airplane travels 150km due east (90 degrees) and then 78km 55 degrees North of West. Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant displacement.

5. On the 1st leg of the trip, you walk 22km at 28 degrees East of North. Then you stop for a break. After the break you walk 8km at 47 degrees South of East for lunch. You head 12 degrees West of South for 12km. Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant displacement.

6. A truck has successive displacements of 5km North West, 2.8km North and 5.5km 47 degrees East of North. Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant displacement.

7. A man walks 8.2km North and then 4km at 29 degrees West of South. Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant displacement.

Pytanie #6:

Do you know something about nothing? (For Hawking fans)?

Nothing, a void.

"Something" with neither mass or shape of any kind, does not exist in nature. It is a construct of the human mind. It is how we are able to make our math work properly.

Mathematicians know that once you begin to attempt to define nothing, you cross from math into theology.

Today a great mathematician that I have used to prove this concept to folks has decided to become a theologian. He sees the big pay day and he has broken from all laws or even sane theories regarding math.

He is saying gravity can come from nothingness. The math works if you start with the undefinable and invisible "zero".

I will of course reserve my judgment until I read his work. But what I have been seeing tells me he has decided to go for the big paycheck. The Atheist reactions to it tell me this guy is going to be buying a yacht in the very near future.

And to Christians who are watching it? Rejoice. This is a very good thing. It will do very much to help us teach.
As I said, I reserve the right to read his book before I call this one. The excerpts and commentary I have seen so far have been pretty bad though.

To those who tell me that energy = 0 and that I have no concept of physics, citing a retired professor and his kooky ideas is not going to sway me.

I take the work of men like E.H. Andrews and A.E. Wilder-Smith much more seriously.

This book will make him even more wealthy. I do know the history of the man. I consider him to be someone with a checkered past of broken relationships. I don't pity him like most people and I also realize that like all geniuses, he is a child on some level.

This is why geniuses tend to make for poor theologians.
Jabberwalk. Just because you have not seen it does not mean it is not common knowledge.

I suggest reading a book that was made for kids and then when you finish, come ask for more. This should explain it perfectly for you.

"From Nothingness to Nature, and God, Science and Evolution" by E.H. Andrews. These are his credentials...

Professor E .H. Andrews BSc, PhD, DSc, F Inst P, FIM, was Professor of Materials in the University of London, formally Dean of Engineering at Queen Mary College. He graduated in theoretical physics in 1953 from University College, London, and did his PhD in mechanics of fracture. He was awarded the DSc degree for his published work in the physics of high polymers, and is an international authority in the science of large molecules. He has had over eighty scientific papers and books published.
Help us teach many things. Like how easily Atheists are taken in by anything regarding attacks on God no matter how well they have studied it.

Like how Stephen Hawking will sell his reputation for money.

Like how to see Babylon.

It is you who believes in magic and world-wide conspiracies. This world uses a date to pass time based on "cosmic luck" to the likes of you. And in the internet, you have found a place where your fantasies blossom. In this fake place, Atheism and hatred of God are at home.
Ren,

I am celebrating the opportunity to teach. It is good that Mr. Hawking is making God the subject of his work. This is always a good thing. I understand if you can't see me dancing a jig online, but I am.

Jabber,

I do not mean to patronize you. But when someone comes to me and tells me that they think basic principles of physics are not peer reviewed, I am at a loss. It is like saying I can't prove a circle is round.

There are rational leaps made in all facets of math. Rational numbers make it so the computer we are using right now can operate. You computer does not know 0 is a human invention. All it knows is 0 is not 1.

One of the greatest studies in this subject is thermodynamics. To study the nature of absolute zero in regard to heat. We know it exists and can make a rational leap to make machines work and math work, but we can't prove it. We just know it works.

Are you getting it yet?

Pytanie #7:

Given the current recession caused by evil capitalist, would you vote Socialist now?

I would, and i am. OBAMA IS NOT A SOCIALIST BTW...im talking a member of the Socialist Party of America. And for those who are ignorant or brainwashed, socialism is NOT the same as Communism.

The way i see it, Capitalism has failed. The Banks destroyed the economy just to make more money and some fools out there think they did nothing wrong, and that it is perfectly ethical to ruin millions of people so a select few can make huge short term profits. Helping the rich HAS NEVER helped anyone. They take the tax cuts, or what not and give themselves pay hikes like AIG did, they DO NOT CREATE MORE JOBS...why? Because they are greedy and evil.

The Economy is Tumbling into total collapse. If the american people get duped by the rich, middle class hating republipukes, and vote them into power, any chance of recovery for the middle and lower class will be lost, only the evil, greedy immoral slime ball corporate scum will win. Unless Obama implements stricter regulations and punishes big Business for destroying the economy in the first place and ruining millions of americans so they could raid the economy, the nation and their companies, we are domed. We need a REAL Socialist to teach the rich that stepping on the poor so they can but a new yacht every day will not be tolerated.

SO since this recession was clearly caused by lack of regulations, which demonstrated the inherent unethicalness of corporations in the US, and the inherent evil behind capitalism, would you vote Socialist?

NOT COMMUNIST BUT SOCIALIST...unless you are a moron you will know the difference.
Private ownwership, selfishness and greed lead to the US having 10% + unemployment. But who cares, only the rich matter right?
Read John Maynard Keynes people, a briliant economist who proved neo-classical economics/free market no restriction capitalism was a failure
Also how is it fair or ethical for someone to have 10 million while some one is dying of starvation because they cant no matter how hard they want, get a job, because big buisiness destroyed the economy? I see YA!is populated with cold, uncaring, unethicl greedy republicans.

Pytanie #8:

Boat/Yacht painting jobs in Spain?

My other half is a painter and wants a change! He wants to go to somewhere like Spain and paint boats or yachts for part of the year. Does anybody know where we can find more information or places that would have vacancies for jobs like this in Spain? Any small bit of information I would be grateful for.

Pytanie #9:

Do you think John Kerry will give his yacht to the inner city school system so poor children can have a taste?

of the American dream?
Does one really need a yacht, and should one own one shouldn't they pay taxes on it instead or porting it out of state to cheat on taxes?

Pytanie #10:

Pytanie #12:

Why do Americans think that capitalism is a good thing?

sure, capitalism made this a great country.. back when the rich were taxed 50% of their earning.. then Ronald Reagan came to town and made it where the rich only pay 8% of their income in taxes... do you really think those rich folks were starving back then when they paid 50%?? NO. they had everything that they needed and most of what they wanted.. then a bunch of rich people got greedy, they bought off Ronald Reagan and put him int he Presidency, all so they can buy an extra yacht each year.. so why are Americans still backing this flawed economic theory?? don't you see what it has done to the country? people my age are so far in debt from student loans, credit card scams, and thousands and thousands of other scams that capitalism has brought upon the country like a plague. i think it's time to either go back to taxing the top 5% of earners 50% of their earning, or turn to a proven economic theory.. socialism. oh no! the 'S' word!! watch the Republicans run away in fear!! but Nazis used socialism!!! so does Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, France, and all of the other countries that are MUCH better to live in these days than the U.S.
people need to realize that through capitalism, the company that makes the most profits is the one that survives... NOT the company that treats its employees and customers the way they should be treated. this is NOT how thing should be done... unless you're a greedy immoral slob.
Ken, what planet are you on?!?

p.s. 50% and 8% are exact figures.. Google it
akelley.. i've never had a credit card in my life.. typical American

Pytanie #13:

Is whining about tax deductions for yachts a good example of Liberal "Class Warfare"?

Why or why not?

"Some ultra-rich yacht buyers are expecting to deduct millions from their income tax next year by depreciating their pleasure craft under the provisions of the Bush administration's tax-relief program passed by Congress in 2003. About 500,000 boat owners nationwide can decrease their income-tax bill every year by declaring their vessels a second home. Some others collect healthy deductions from putting their boats into charter arrangements that may skirt the provisions of the tax code. And some corporations take deductions on yachts that seem to stretch the definition of a business resource."

Pytanie #14:

My mom is 44 years old and she is biracial and never known her father; all she knows is he is white and name.?

My mom is 44 years old and she is biracial and never known her father. All she knows is he is white and his first name is Steve; he owned trucking lines in Memphis,tn around late 50's and early 60's. He also had a yacht that my grandmother used to go on there with him. If there's any help please show me the way.

Pytanie #15:

Should I tell my girl friend that I have had a vasectomy.?

I do not intend to marry her, but she is only 25 so she could still want children. I am 52 and have already done the baby thing. I was planning on breaking up with her soon but I found out some things about her and I have decided to keep her around and we have made plans together through the beginning of next year.

Specifically, I took her out on my sailing yacht in high seas. It was quite uncomfortable and most women would have been upset and ready to go home before we got outside the reef. Not her. She took order well and even went forward to untangle a halyard with wave breaking over the bow. She enjoyed it enough that she told me she wanted to sail with me to Nicaragua. I did not expect that. Then when we got back in we rode my motorcycle home in the rain and sang you may be wrong but you may be right in two different keys with all our hearts and she knew every word. I had so much fun I can't leave her for a while and and I am not sailing to Nicaragua until January and not coming back till March.

Is Brittney too rich for soccer?

She said where she lives, poor people and illegal immigrants play soccer. Its the same thing where I live except we don't have illegal immigrants in my area. Her dad works for a MLB team, that's pretty cool, you have to admit. I wonder if she's seeing anyone? Her dad's $1.12 million salary is more money than I have. She's right though, in the areas of the USA where soccer isn't popular, only poor kids play and I guess in her area, illegal immigrants. Do you think she's too rich for soccer? With her money, she should be a yacht somewhere.
Brittney, everyone thinks we should date, should we?

For my Sweet 16 party, I want to rent a private yacht on San Francisco Bay. The party will last from about 7pm untill 11pm. There will be about 40 teen guests, plus about 10 parents as chaperones. I don't want a meal served, I just want there to be a table where people can get food when they want it (sort of like a buffet with appetizers?). Has anyone done this before, and approx. how much would it cost? And does anyone recommend that was especially good, or inexpensive? I would also need to charter a bus about 30 miles to bring my guests home from the party.

Pytanie #27:

How is $100,000,000 compensation for being cheated on?

To these people saying "she deserves it for all that he's done to her." So money is going to make up for emotional trauma? And a mansion, and yachts, and diamonds.. she deserves to be paid off because he slept with other people? He has to pay a toll for breaking his marriage vows?

Do you realize how sick that sounds?

2nd question - Do you believe that she had "no idea" her husband was like this?
Why do feminists (and some women) put a price on things that shouldn't even be about money?
@dark eyes, guess that's the difference between men and women.. If my cheating wife offered me a billion dollars I'd tell her to cramp it up her box. You can't put a price on integrity
@dark eyes, ohh, so Tiger Woods should have to pay for hurting her. Money will make everything all better! I know he volunteered to give her that money, I'm referring to superficial feminists who think he should have to pay some kind of tax for having affairs. All the wrongs he's done can go away as long as he gives her more money then any one person should have.. As another user said she could 'take that money and go shopping to make her feel better' LOL. that's pretty much what its all about with you people.
And what's with your attitude directed at me?I don't cheat.. lol.
@Wendy, your bringing up Kevin Federline as an example? Do I really have to pull out the divorce statistics showing how many more alimony payments are made to women, how much of the overall assets go to women, how 99/100 its the man's wallet that's lighter from a divorce? I don't think I need to..
@Wendy, Integrity is not excepting money from someone who made you look like a fool in front of the world. If the situation were reversed a man was offered money from his cheating wife, you think he would've excepted? Oh right, but your argument is based on "K-Fed" the white rapper, good one! "Only wealthy people have to give alimony" Oh that's the most beautiful feminist lie I've seen today. You're on a roll...
@wendy, what's funny is the last disagreement we had, you made a decent point.. this time you're just dead wrong. The number of men receiving alimony doesn't even compare to the amount of women living on it.. nor does it compare to the amount of women who take the lion's share of the assets.
I never made a general statement like MEN JUST HAVE MORE INTEGRITY. In this particular case I think they do.. women (when it comes to marital divorce) have little integrity when it comes to money they didn't make. And accepting money for heart break is ridiculous, which is what feminists are pushing.

Agree to disagree? (Its always lively when you're around lol.)

Pytanie #33:

I need help on an important decision?

So i need help deciding on wether to go to prom or not. I wanted to make my girlfriend to go with me but she hates dances and begged me not to make her go. After a month i decided that i wouldn't make her go and that i would miss prom and just spend the night with her. The problem is I'm letting all my friends down. I missed last years prom because i didn't have a date and didn't feel like going. Another reason why their on my case about going so much is because its my senior prom and were having it on a yacht. Now i have second thoughts about making her go or not. I told her that i actually had to start rethinking it and she wasn't happy but decided that she could go. Now i have a moral dilemma on my hands on wether I force her to go and go back on my word or to just not go and let everyone down. My friends were sad that i missed last years but they wont let me miss this one they said. What do i do?

Pytanie #41:

How do you go about answering this one?

A "sun-yacht" is a spacecraft with a large sail that is pushed by sunlight.
Although such a push is tiny in everyday circumstances, it can be large enough to send
the spacecraft outwards from the Sun on a cost-free but slow trip.
Suppose the spacecraft has a mass of 900N & receives a push of 20N.

a) What is the magnitude of the resulting acceleration?
I got the right answer of 0.022 m/s^2

b) If the craft starts from rest, how far will it travel in one day?
8.3 x 10^4 km

c) How fast will it then be moving?
1.9 x 10^ m/s

How are you supposed to get b) & c)???
I tried integrating the acceleration twice to position & then taking 3600 seconds as my time
but I don't get the right answer & I have no idea's on what to do next?
900kg !!! Mass is 900kg, my mistake!¬
Yeah, a late addendum!!!

I forgot to include a thank you too!

Thank you!

Btw, my problem was I didn't multiply my 3600 seconds by 24 to make it a whole day :(

Call it tiredness, thanks again!

Pytanie #47:

would you let a close friend dictate who you can have in your life?

i dated this kid for 2 wks and i really liked him...he was attentive, sweet and charming and seemed to genuinly be interested in me...then he started pulling back and when i looked on his facebook there were pictures posted of him and another girl cuddling up at the beach..she was wearing his hat and he also took flirty pics with her and one of his guy friends said "new wife? very nice" also they went to dinner one night before i hung out with him.
i dont have any tolerance for being someones option so i dropped off his stuff, told him to go fuck himself and called him a pretentious jerk (he hangs out on yachts drinking wine with his frat boys and uppity female friends) and an idiot.
apparently he called up his best female friend within 5 minutes of the texts and gossiped about me. then within about 7 minutes she posted this on his facebook wall "CRAZY....NUTS...GROSS...run from her and run fast while you still can!!!!" i wrote to her and told her to mind her own business.
he then called me and said "i cant believe you wrote something to her, there is no way we can be friends now because she doesnt approve of you" we are all 23 yrs old not 10.
....despite the fact she bashed me online and i was merely defending myself.

Why doesn't the government spend the stimulus money on green jobs?

Like create a government work force to build solar and windmill projects. Also improve the environment by creating habitat. When you see all the homeless people this past year it breaks my heart to see that the bankers can get new yachts.
