Pytanie #1:

How as a white man wouldn't feel proud when i see all the things my ancestors achieved?

How white men have won 95% of Nobel Prizes , went to the moon , went under the oceans , went on the highest mountains , invented cars - boats - airplanes - radios - TVs - Computers , dominates politics , military , science and technology for centuries , dominated and conquered other continents , built America - Canada - Australia - Argentina , wins over 85% of medals in all sports at Olympics (blacks are great in few running events and basketball, but truth is rest 95% of sports are White mostly with Asians being second in medals) economy , business , Hollywood , theater , poetry , literature etc etc

How in the world i should not feel proud being a white man?

Pytanie #2:

Where did all the flood water go?

In the story of Noah, where did all of that water go? Nevermind where it came from or how thousands of animals and all of their food was fit onto a boat built by one man and his small family.
I'm just curious about whether or not anyone has an "explanation" for where the water went...?

Pytanie #3:

What company in the bread basket or arid states would profit from millions of gallons of free river water?

If a company that can earn a profit from this learns of it, they will make it happen.
If you know of a company that can profit from this, tell them!

A company could charge money to take the water away, and then on the other end of the pipe sell it!
Or take it for free with government approval and then sell it!

How much would it boost the economy of an arid state like Arizona if they had a large replenish able water source for irrigation, hydroponics, fishing, recreation?

How much would it boost the economy of a state like Kansas (wheat fields as far as you can see) if they had a large replenish able water source?

How much would it boost the economics of a large agricultural corporation if they had a large replenish able fresh water source?

Water and oil, these two things can really drive an economy, just try farming with out one of them or a limited supply of one of them.

Where to put the millions of gallons of water the great pump project was meant for and funds allocated for?
Every year in the spring the Ole Mississippi river floods, levees break, some people die, Billions of dollars in damages and losses occur.
This is a very dramatic and tragic event for some.

The Federal government allocated money for Great pumps to be installed near Yazoo Mississippi to remove water from the river and take pressure off the levees.
The problem is, the county Yazoo is in has no where to go with the water, no one in their county wants it, and no one in neighboring counties want it.

Is it to far out of the realm of possibilities to build a pipe line to huge reservoirs dug in desert states like Arizona, Texas or Nevada?
Or how about the bread basket states like Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, these states are having water table problems due to heavy irrigation.
With a project like this, these heavy water users could draw upon this water for irrigation, and leave the ground water for drinking.
Yes, underground pipe lines, just like the huge oil companies do, yes we would have to condemn most of the right of way to do it, but they can farm over it.

Once in the reservoir of the arid state/bread basket state it could be used in very well thought out processes,
like hydroponics and other crops that utilize the water well; only well thought efficient uses to be allowed.
The reservoir could have two main levels, the second level is a level we do not draw away from more,
because this level has gentle slopes and is a second fishing ground.
Boating and recreational aspects could/should also be enjoyed with this resource!

This would generate thousands of jobs in the agricultural communities and save a lot of drama and heartache in the flood areas.

I still remember the Mayor of a small town in Tennessee when the Tennessee river recently deluged his city, he said "there is just no place to go with all the water!".

The Tennessee river, Ohio river, Missouri rivers, the Waspininski (Wapsi river, in Iowa) and probably a few others I am unaware of all have dire flooding events every year and could benefit from a pump project.
Not that long ago Obama said, there are 85 million less jobs in the US of A now, and 85 million people are just going to have to reinvent themselves.
This is not a handout, and the new jobs will make us stronger.
The thousands of workers who will have jobs because of this will not be unemployed and will be paying taxes.
The job it saves may even be yours or a loved ones!

Environmental impact statements needed?
OK, here is an environmental impact statement.

To save the levees, and billions and damages, we pumped water out of the river.
We put a big screen over the inlet to sift out the gators.
NO GATORS WERE HARMED!

Actually before the great pump project was allocated money, an environmental impact statement was probably done.

Pytanie #4:

What says peace about the Jewish mountain god from which you built your own christian gods upon?

Jesus Dad --- Fine with me

The guy who threatened to kill the tribe of Israel in the desert because they made a friggin golden calf when he wasn't looking but saw them anyway because he sees everything

The common god of all the Abrahamic faiths --- that guy --- Jesus daddy if you like

What says peace about this god --- Isn't it a lot more accurate to describe him as a blood thirsty boat rocking anti freedom primitive tribal god from a long since dead era

What says peace about a tribal mountain god that keep yelling Stone that one two when you catch them Moses ?

Pytanie #5:

This is a project worthy of the "Great One's attention, but how do we let him know, who can tell him?

Only a man who could get a "Health care bill" that many people opposed passed could get this passed also.
I do not see how anyone could argue against this, but surely someone will!

Pytanie #6:

Why is Segregation such a bad Deal?

If a community is made up of whites and they choose to support themselves and provide the city services such as fire, rescue, and law enforcement with the taxes of that community, and they choose to cut everyone else out what is wrong with that? I know many Gated Neighborhoods and some towns inact standards in an attempt to legally segregate people out of the town or neighborhood, such as minimum income levels, rules to live by, and moral code(s) of conduct. If you are a person of color and a community did not want you around why stay??? WHy force yourself upon them?? Why endanger yourself and possible families cause some jerks said we dont want you here??? There are plenty of places to live in so why would a person force themselves on and still get ostracized by a community? I do not believe in racism. I am not saying any race or religion is better than another. I know that there are better classes of people but each class has multiple races. I own a small farm. I chose to live where I live cause I like the people around me. I did not choose to live in a gated neighborhood or any neighborhood where I could have some idiot trying to tell me how to build my house, what i can or can not have, and how I can park my tractor(s) boats, trucks, and farm equipment or what kind of fence to put on my land cause they think it is pretty. So if people want segregation for any means, race, religion, economic or social class why not give it to them. They ignorance will cost them some day.

Pytanie #7:

On the "mosque" overblown controversial political news, how can Donald Trump of all people talk?

About something being "insensitive" when he didn't give a darn about all those poor people in A.C. who had to pack up and leave so that he could build his casinos there, and there's talk of him hiring skanks like the Uchitel (sp) chick(Tiger's main mistress skank. She got super famous because she laid Tiger) for his show 'The Apprentice'! What's sensitive about THAT???! He was just on the Letterman show, and as usual Dave stumped him with questions that he really couldn't answer. Like this for example: "Can you explain why you think it's insensitive"? Trump said (just like many of the GOPers who already hate "muslims" and don't want them here period said) "Well somebody blew us up. It was the Muslims." Putting ALL "muslims" in the SAME boat. And oh yeah, it's NOT a "mosque" it's a CENTER. Why don't people READ??? Sheesh. Dave was even calling it a "mosque" without the quotation marks.
In other words, all Donald Trump cares about is $$$$$ and ratings. He doesn't give a darn about people thinking that what he does to people is "insensitive".
Yeah, I get the whole "free speech" thing, and that he's entitled to it. But "how can she/he talk" is a figure of speech. It's like a pot calling a kettle "black". Trump is guilty of many "insensitive" things.
"Those people in Atl City were well compensated."

They were NOT. Wrong.

Pytanie #8:

how to build a a boat?

Pytanie #9:

Does anyone have a zombie plan?

You know a plan on what you do when zombies take over the world.

My plan is to build a boat and move to the tropical equator. Zombies can't swim and don't have the brains to make a boat. I make my living catching fish and I store up enough purified water that will last me a life time.
So pretty much either you get f*cked or die trying to get f*cked.

Pytanie #10:

Boyfriend's 24th Birthday Gift?

Let me say for the record that me and my boyfriend are big mushes. I write him letters everyday in his lunch which he then brags about to his co-workers, family members and pretty much anyone who won't puke over our mushiness (and leads to slightly awkward introductions later).

For his 24th birthday this weekend, his entire family has decided to go on a camping trip with his younger half-sisters and to not invite us- so needless to say they won't be around for it. His friends are immature as all get out and can't be bothered to do anything if alcohol is not involved (Ex. They refused to attend another close friend's wedding because it was a dry event), and ALL of them already bailed on his birthday party with them last weekend.

So I'm feeling the pressure to make it a good birthday for him since I'm kind of alone in celebrating it with him (although the friends say they MAY make an appearance if we buy them booze >_< ). He LOVES model boats and building them together, so I got him a really nice Cutty Sark sailboat model from our local hobby shop.

However, I also got some noodle boxes. My plan is to make him eggs in a hole for breakfast which is his favorite and give him one of the noodle boxes filled with self-made menus of all the things that I love and can't get enough of (thus the take out boxes). Then I'll make his favorite lunch (KD and weiners...gross. Hahah)and give him the second noodle box filled with these "paper noodles" I've made of my best memories of him. Finally we're going out for dinner and I wanted to give him the third box filled with little pictures of him and me throughout the last couple years of our relationship.

Is this lame? Is this something you as a guy would want for your birthday?

Thanks!

Pytanie #11:

Is it safe to mount a 12v fuel pump inside a tank of water?

Fuel pumps are really loud, I have one on my 502 installed in my boat. If i built a small container( aluminum) mounted the pump inside, and filled it with water, would it be safe?

Pytanie #12:

how to build a boat raft with 4 or 8 straws and 20cm x20cm of aluminum foil?

Pytanie #13:

how should i adjust my boat motor?

i have a 16' flat boat with a 1990 25 hp johnson. i dont think my boat is running nearly as fast as it should be. ive been told i need to find the right height for the motor to sit to be the most efficient. can anyone help me out with a drawing or somethin. all i have in the boat weight wise is a center console i built because i convereted it from tiller to hydrolic steering. so i dont think its weight. it probaly runs around 15mph. and there is no difference between half throttle and WOT. and my motor is very strong. ive kept up with it since my dad had it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
i have recently found out that i had a 17" pitch on my prop and that is for a motor around 50hp. so i switched it out to a 13" pitch so i think this will solve it. anybody else agree?

Pytanie #14:

Why did God make Noah build a big boat instead of just sending him down a giant inflatable turtle?

Pytanie #15:

Is the advance tools like cars, planes, cranes, and boats a humans natural way or have we exceeded past nature?

Is our "nature" to build cars and fly planes so fast you cant see them or have we absolutely went beyond our natural ways i mean a chimp sharpens a stick or picks a bug with a stick woot woot...... yawn! but us humans have built things like cars that can easily exceed the speed of any animal on Earth and even at that we may call that car "slow" so is this just humans form of a chimp sharpening a stick and picking at his a$$ with it or have we just went way way beyond everything

Pytanie #16:

Is it possible to visit Pha Nang Bay, Phi Phi and Railay (at least Phra Nang beach) as a daytrip excursion?

I am trying to build an itinerary for my future trip in the Andaman Coast, and due to some time/schedule constraints (because I need to be in Chiang Mai on a certain date and I cannot change my arrival date to Phuket) I need to visit these sites (inclusion of Railay is not necessary, but preferable) just in one day. I will stay in Khao Lak, and as I understand upon Googling there are not many tour companies in Khao Lak unlike Phuket and they do not offer such a tour.

So my question is I was wondering whether you can recommend a tour company in Phuket or preferably in Khao Lak which has such a tour. If your answer to my first question is negative, then, as you may suggest, I will contact these companies to tailor a daytrip according to my needs, which leads to my second question: Before contacting these companies I would like to have your opinion, based on two itineraries in one of which Railay is included and not in the other, on i) whether such a tour would be doable (I think even if it is doable, it would only be doable with a speed boat); and ii) how much would it normally cost, as I do not want to be ripped off just for wanting a specially tailored daytrip.

One caveat is that I need to be at 17:45 (5:45 pm) in the Phuket Airport on the same day after such an intended daytrip is over. I may or may not leave my luggage to the tour company, depending on whether I would be assured of their safety. On the flip side, I am not interested in i) eating lunch in the Muslim village and visiting the reclining Buddha statute and the monkey cave, which are typically included in a Pha Nang Bay daytrip tour, as I just want to kayak through the crocodile-teeth-like limestone cliffs including the James Bond island, and I may also eliminate some non-must-see locations typically offered in a Phi Phi daytip tour, such as sightseeing around Phi Phi Lay, Loh Sama Bay, Pileh Bay, Birdsnest - Viking cave (I do not know which of these would qualify as a non-must-see). Instead of visiting Ao Ton Sai, which is also typically included in a Phi Phi daytrip, I think I can convince the relative tour company to visit Railay (Phra Nang beach in particular). During my intended daytrip, I would want to swim in one or two locations for a short time to refresh, and eat my lunch on the boat for the purposes of saving time.

PS. The very purpose of this intended daytrip is that, since I will join to a 2 nights-3 days tour visiting each and every Similan island and thus I will have the opportunity to see pristine beaches and seascapes, I want to see the must-see locations of Phuket, which are in my personal opinion Phi Phi and Pha Nang Bay and perhaps Railay, before leaving the Andaman Coast. Thailand is very far from where I live, and I do not know whether I would ever come to the Andaman Coast if I ever visit Thailand again.
PS2. I need the opinions of the people actually visited these places before, preferably with some concrete facts.

How do i determine the watermark for my cardboard boat?

I'm a junior in high school and in my physics class we are designed to build a cardboard boat to float you and your partner in a nearby lake for a race. For the assignment we were asked to show the watermark but i have no idea how to find the mark and neither does my partner... any help would be appreciated! thank you!
In my high school physics class we are told to determine the waterline for our cardboard boat. Our boat is 9ft long, 4 feet wide and 2 feet tall. I weigh 130 lbs and my partner is about 150 lbs. How do i find the waterline?

Atheists: How do you think the bible knows about most of the stuff that we have of knowledge today?

I'm an atheist too but I'm just wondering... How would it know about abortion, poverty, an end of the world theory, how to build a boat, etc...

And how would the Koran know about the big bang as it claims a god named Allah did?

I'm really confused about this part, but just wondering.

Pytanie #20:

Which of the fairy tales in the Bible are the most popular?

I realize that the one about the man dying on a cross, coming back to life a couple of days later, visiting with some friends, and then floating up into the sky is the most popular. But, what are the other fairy tales in the Bible that people like the most?

My personal favorite is the one about the drunkard who builds a big wooden boat and then crams two of every kind of animal and his family onto it just before the Earth is swallowed whole by water. It kind of says it all, you know?

Pytanie #21:

Why dont you believe in?(see details, apologies, its a tad long, but cant say i didnt warn you :D )?

why do you believe?
i believe in the greek gods, why? because why not? if your going to believe in something like "the bible" then what makes it so much more reasonable than to believe in the massive statues of zues and apollo and the huge carvings on walls and temples built in there name.....i dont see any of those around today? i see alot of houses where people put money in a hat to pay for forgiveness and to have a group therapy session about why this book with over 500 authors is the true word of god almighty.

the big bang and evolution get alot of ****, and it sad because those scientists have dedicated there entire lives to their project.

did u know gravity is also just a theory?
did u know Germs are also just a theory?
did u know the CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS ACCEPTED EVOLUTION???

find me 1 peice of historical evidence of a few things...

1 : the exodus from egypt, never been shown on any historical text or artifact or hyroglyphic.
2 : frogs falling from the sky in egypt
3 : a man living inside a whale
4 : a cane turning into a snake
5 : a flood that wipped out the entire planet and a boat that somehow carried everything.
6 : the ability for man/woman to be created from nothing, and as well live to over 900 years old.
7 : a white cloud that kills every 1st born child.
8 : a man parting an entire sea
9 : the earth growing a mouth and swallowing women and children who sinned
10 : GOD ALMIGHTY

a theory isnt "just a theory", you may be ill informed but what most people think is a theory is really just a hypothosis. a guess at what the answer could be.

a theory is something that has been studied, tested, experimented, and has been backed up by irrifutable evidence that it is the highest probability of a conclusion to question.

its not fact that we come from apes or apelike ancestors, its FACT that we share 98.776% of the same DNA strand.

its not fact that the planets came from an explosion, its FACT that due to an internal combustion of energy and typhodes/naproloids that are everywhere in space, a reaction can occur that can produce a form of matter.

so why (if you believe) dont u believe in something a tad bit more interesting and amazing? the morals in the bible are called "laws" that we HAVE TO FOLLOW EVEN TODAY(cept the first 2). or else we get in serious trouble.

so why do you believe?

Pytanie #22:

Come on. Did Obama miss the boat completely on the economy?

OK, you don't have to be a rocket scientist, or even a college graduate, to realize the stimulus created millions of jobs. Stimulus funds paid for roads and bridges, and they don't build themselves, at least not yet.

But the stimulus was supposed to be PART of economic recovery, to keep the unemployment at reasonable levels while other methods improved the rest of the economy, such as giving tax breaks to companies that hired people. Instead, it was left on its own and, of course, failed to do much of anything.

Don't get me wrong. the fact that Obama got or health care system out of 3rd world status (where you can be denied care just for being poor), is reason enough to re-elect him. But I'm thinking that, if someone awesome comes out of nowhere and opposes him, I'm going to at least give them a shot.

You?
coldfuse: please explain how those roads got built without hiring anyone.

Hello I have set some goals for myself and I would like to see if anybody else out there who uses yahoo answers has already walked the path I am attempting to take. If you have please share any and all advice that you deem necessary.

I am currently in the Military and stuck in Iraq. After being in this desert for so long I have realized my true dreams and ambitions for the rest of my life. I am going to Attend Wyotech or UTI and I am going to complete the marine program. My ultimate goal and where I want to be is around the lake in southern Missouri with my own boat shop. I will do it all from cleaning to storage to emergency get you back out on the water and enjoy your vacation jobs. Painting a little upholstery. I want to be able to make peoples lives easy and I want them to enjoy their time they have out there. I understand the concept of starting a business is long and grueling but the one thing the Army has taught me is to be a go getter and a leader. I can do it I would just like a little more insight on things I may run into. I was also planned on building my own docks and such. Possibly build my own marina and operate out of there while having a storage/extra work shop back in town. I have no talents nor am I good at anything....?

I don't play sports on the sports teams at my schools. I don't get the best looking girls. So you'd think i'd have to be really smart right? well I make good grades, but the only scholarships I qualify for is to get tuition off at any state school. I thought that was great till I realized all these jocks who took the easy classes and had fun their entire high school were getting the same as me. I busted my ass in tough classes, rarely went out with the few friends I have and still have never had a GF. Meanwhile these guys have had a blast in high school, have taken easy road, been w/ all the best looking girls, and even done drugs. And i'm in the same boat as them.
That whole pitiful situation got me thinking bout my life. And hell I have no talents. there is Nothin I enjoy (well except Tennessee football/bball) Music is like a foreign language to me (cept rock band drums wtf i can't even do real drums). I can't draw, write, express myself, etc. I'm athletic. But my body build is tall and super duper skinny, which doesn't exactly help me in any of my athletic endeavours. In youth leagues i was a baseball all star, football starter, and point guard in bball. I got by with my hustle. But now with how big and strong these guys are, hustle just won't cut it anymore. When I talk I jumble and mumble my words so they get to running together and people just don't listen to me. Like I will say something (pretty loud i might add) in a group discussion, and it gets completely ignored (this happens a good bit) I'm not good looking, I don't have the money for cool clothes, and am terrible at making new friends. When it comes to girls, I'm just that nice guy in the group. They know they can walk all over me cause I do just about anything they ask(idk why its just the way they say it, i can't say no) Sure it's great that I'm a nice guy, but being a nice guy doesn't get you anything. I'm going to college next year and Idk what i'm gonna do since all my childhood friends are going elsewhere. What can I do?!?!?

I'm 27 and in school.. i always find myself filling my time with numerous activities.. it's now time to build a boat. Pytanie #32:

fiber glassing engine cover?

so on this 1995 bayliner 1950 capri I'm helping a buddy repair the engine cover rotted since the company was too cheap to use pressure treated wood lol I've done this sort of repair many times building speaker boxes for boats but this time I'm stumped between using 1/2 plywood vs. pressure treated 3/8 plywood, since I will use 2 coats of fiberglass resin and cloth in the stress & corner areas would it really matter on the type of wood? I'm assuming std plywood will work best since it's going to be sealed for life anyways why would it matter to use treated?

whats your take on this boat pro's?
never heard of starboard only marine board which runs the cost up about 7 times what a sheet of plain ply runs. google didn't show up anything where do you find it?
woo hoo as I thought plain jane old plywood works, project came out nice last night just intime for labor day and soem party boating!

Pytanie #33:

Neighbour uses power tools all day, everyday and my two month baby won't sleep during the day because of it!?

I would like to start of by acknowledging that to somebody reading this, I may sound like a very easily irritated person, but I would like you to understand that I'm at my wits' end here.

My next door neighbour is a stay at home husband, while his wife works full time. Him and his wife aren't the most sociable - they say hello if we're ever out gardening at the same time. Other that that, that's as far as their communication goes. I have a serious problem though, the husband is a DIY fanatic (I think he's building a boat) and everyday, without fail, is out in his back garden using his very noisy power tools for hours on end.

I have a two month old baby who can't nap during the day because the tools keep her awake, thus she gets grumpy and since she is so young, I'm worried that her not being able to nap during the day may have some effect on her growth. The noise is one thing, but he can maybe use a electric saw for 10 second, stop it and then a few seconds later saw for anther 10 seconds. It's driving me insane! Sometimes I just like weeping because of it all. I've even driven to my friends house, just so me and my baby could have a quiet nap.

I've asked the man to stop. I've asked the wife to ask her husband. I've even suggested that he stops for a few hours during the day. But according to him, it's his "right" to use his tools whenever he wants. I've contacted my local authority who have came out and assessed the situation and the man's tools are JUST under the noise limit and therefore they can't do anything about it because he isn't breaking any law.
We can't move house because of the current financial climate and me and my husbands family live in Ireland so we can't even stay with one of them during the day. I'm at my wits ends! Short of putting one of the power tool's cord around the mans neck, does anybody else have any advice?

Thank you for all your time.
"Honestly, are you sure the noise is the reason your baby doesn't nap?"
Yes, I'm sure. If the noise was consistant such as a lawnmower then maybe she would be able to sleep through it, but he usually uses saws which, like I said, he stops and starts every 10 seconds of so, thus she is constantly being startled and unable to sleep.

Iran. Is the "concern" really coming from Iran's neighbors? or just the US and Israel?

(Trying to find articles from Middle East which substantiate that the Middle East is as hostile towards Iran as the US claims.)

US concerned about Iran's assault boats, drone
(AFP) – 17 hours ago

WASHINGTON — The United States voiced concern Monday over Iran's unveiling of new assault boats and an aerial drone, but said Iran's arms buildup will backfire as its neighbors gang up against it.

Iran began mass-producing two high-speed variants of missile-launching assault boats on Monday, a day after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad revealed a home-built bomber drone.

"This is... something that is of concern to us and... concern to Iran's neighbors," State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters.
I truly believe that it is notall ' big talk' from Ahmadinejad.
Iran scientists, engineers are brilliant, smart, beyond what we are told. Note they laugh at our concerns about nukes. Ever wonder why?
That's all the US and Israel talk about.
"Nuclear this and nuclear that"
Seems to me that Iran's lack of concern is because they have something far more devastating and far more deadly than nukes. That they laugh at our antiquated 'nukes' concerns because they are way ahead of us.
Iran is no N. Korea.
I pay very good 'attention'. I don't believe much of what the US feeds us about any situation in the Middle East.
You say what?
"The Pentagon is planning to sell more than 200 Patriot missiles worth some $900 million to Kuwait as part of its long-term effort to build up anti-missile systems in the Persian Gulf.

really? Hummm. sounds good but after al US plans permanent bases in Kuwait, as well as their Huge embassy in Iraq. Other plans will follow of course. The US seeks to defend itself sillybutt. They are not at all concerned about people in a land not their own.
Never have been. Never will be.

He doesn't want a "relationship" but the sex/chemistry is great?

I've known this guy for 7 years and we've never dated but have always had the best chemistry. We have the same interests and goals in life; we laugh at all the same things; have the same history (family/religion/school degrees). I haven't had a serious relationship in 2 years and neither has he. Every time we see each other (over the last two months we've been "seeing each other") we are so excited to see each other and have the best time... also, the sex is phenomenal.

He has been very open about the fact that he is only seeing me but doesn't want a "relationship" because he is so focused on his career. I'm kind of in the same boat, but I think out of all the guys that I've been with in the last two years, he would be the one that I could see myself being in a relationship with.

How do I have the "what are we" conversation without being lame and ruining everything we've built so far?

Opinions on my idea for a book...?

I just was randomly playing this game one day, where you create your own levels and stuff, and I thought of a storyline that went with my levels. I thought it might be a cool thing for a creepy book.
So...here's the story. :D
It was about a young man named Eli with a great life going for him...just got out of college, got a job as a Pharmacologist, and is going to a third-world country to study new forms of natural medicines. As he is sitting on the plane he starts talking to the guy next to him who happens to be an old friend of his when he was in High-school. This mans name is Aaron but his nickname is Rex because he is largely built, his profession is an Archeologist. As they are chatting the plane lands and they think they must part their ways but, no, they actually get on the same boat without knowing it. As the boat goes on it's way, Eli and Rex somehow fall or stray away from the boat (i haven't figured that part out yet) and drift into a large cave on a remote island (or so they think). They meet up and explore, they soon find out that the whole island is an abandoned factory and they have to survive and solve the mystery of it.
The format of the book is kind of switching from Eli's to Rex's recording journals but, Eli will be the main journal that will be read.
So that's it, has this already been made and I just remembered watching some movie or reading some book with the same plot line subconsciously? if not, what do you think of it? you think it's worth writing out and showing to people? Also, it's supposed to be creepy when they get in the island/factory like strange happenings and stuff...anyway
Arigato~♥
I didn't wanna use spell check. You understood what I was saying so what's the point? It's not a final draft. xP
Like i said, it's not a final draft. Of COURSE I would spell check it if it was going to someone important, like an editor. I just didn't feel like spell checking it so let it go. :P

Pytanie #42:

Why would God bother to explain evolution?

The Bible's main theme is the relationship between God and humanity. It also deals with history to some extent, for instance in illustrating what happened to Israel when it failed to follow the laws set out in the Pentateuch/Torah, what can go wrong with monarchy and so forth. It also contains poetry and proverbs, and basic public health advice. However, at no point does it describe, for example, detailed techniques of metal-smelting, farming, butchering, house construction, boat-building and so forth because it's not that kind of book. When it refers to such processes, the usual reason is ritual (the design of the Ark of the Tabernacle) or allegorical (new wine into old wineskins).

In the light of all of that, why would anyone expect the Bible to refer to evolution, or if you don't believe in that, to creation?
Moreover, this is a reason to suppose the accounts in Genesis are not relevant to evolution, is it not?

Cardboard boat design?

So school just started, and our first science project is making a boat out of cardboard and paddling across the pool in it. Hopefully without sinking. Me, being the lightest kid in my group, am getting stuck in the boat. I really don't want it to sink, so I need help figuring out how big to make the boat. We get 2 huge cardboard boxes, and 1 roll of duct tape. That's it. Just 1 roll. I'm mad about that. But anyway, I weigh a little less than 100 pounds, and I'm not sure how much the boat is going to weigh once we build it. How much surface area are we going to need to displace the water so I float? And any tips on what shape to make the boat, how deep it should be, and how to strategically use my duct tape? Thanks for everything!

What do you think of this poem I wrote?

Determination

Second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning said the fairy afloat
I will sail the sky on my tinker- built boat
I will search high and low for the on they call Pan
And live all my days the one way I can
I’m determined to know what lies beyond the ocean
And walk my life in a single step motion
If it takes all night to keep out of sight
I’ll do it, I’m determined, and I am ready to take flight
So give me a chance and I’ll shoot for the stars
Because in my eyes the world is ours.
so i am changing tinker- built to dream- dusted

Pytanie #45:

I came across this bible translation and I was wondering what you think of it?

Through the eyes of a child:

The Children's Bible in a Nutshell

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that.

Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did.

Then God made the world.

He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden.....Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.

Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.

Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something.

One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said they would have to take a rain check.

After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat.

Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston. Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.

God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments. These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff.

Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more: Humor thy father and thy mother.

One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town.

After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn't sound very wise to me.

After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on the shore.

There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don't have to worry about them.

After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the star of The New. He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.')

During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats.

Jesus also had twelve opossums.

The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.

Jesus was a great man. He heled many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount.

But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead..

Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again. He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminum. His return is foretold in the book of Revolution.

Pytanie #46:

Why all religions can be true except for Christianity?

Is is even remotely possible that the bible is true?
A higher being maybe real but the bible and Christianity could NEVER be real. That story was made up!!!!!

There sis NO possible way that

God always existed but he made the world in a couple of days because he was in a rush
He then rested because apparently perfect beings get tired
that same all knowing God created Satan
Instead of killing Satan he creates earth and humans so Satan could have a playground
A virgin gave birth to child
Satan disguised himself as a snake and tricked two grown adults
Jesus walked on water and turned water into wine......apparently wine is healthier than water or juice
Jesus had to die for our sins......why? I have no idea since his father is perfect and has powers
God created everything except evil.....no one knows where that came from

I will cut this short....

Now I dont know how the world came to be but I will NEVER believe in no sh*t like that. As long as I have a brain I would never settle for that bible explanation. If I settle for the bible explanation then its similar to settling with a harry potter book since both are filled with things that are IMPOSSIBLE

Anyone who believes in a book of impossible sh*t has major ISSUES (and probably doesn't have a PhD in Geo, Bio, Chem or Phys because you would know that more than half the things in the bible are impossible).
Other religions are somewhat realistic but Christianity takes it to a WHOLE OTHER level. As soon as I opened the bible and read that God made Satan, I closed it immediately because that makes NO SENSE, I didn't even bother reading the rest of that dumb sh*t about talking snakes and old men building boats all by themselves

I know we must have an imagination sometimes BUT it has to stop somewhere. And if you think that everything in the bible is true then I dont what to say about you and your brain. We were given brains for a reason people!!!!, so why not apply logic to religion???????? We apply our brains to every day conflicts But when it comes to religion we get stupid all of a sudden.....Why do this?????

Pytanie #48:

Do you think God was bullied by the other gods when he was younger?

You know, by Zeus, Osiris, Thor, Poseidon, Mercury, etc. but I guess Zeus probably bullied him the most. Oh and he probably got rejected by Aphrodite and Athena, which would explain his loneliness.

See, Zeus and the other gods were upfront and straight forward - more godly actually (plus we knew where they lived). They were masters of the elements and they weren't afraid to use them. See, if you pissed off Zeus, everybody knew your ass would get zapped by lightning. If you pissed off Poseidon, he would drown you, sink your boat or flood your city by the coast. I take it they were the alpha males or jocks of the realm. It would only be natural if they picked on the lonely and insecure Judeo-Christian God. It would be natural that he would want revenge.

They say God works in mysterious way. I have to agree with that because if he was gonna get back at Zeus and co. he couldn't do it upfront like an actual god would (he wanted to seem like he wasn't an initial threat, kinda like Hitler). He was clever, he made a point of staying in the shadows (and has stuck to that policy diligently). Instead of being upfront, he got into people's heads (props to you God, brilliant idea). Usually a god, being a master of the elements, would do his own bidding (using nature) but God's plan was so good that he got humans to do his bidding (and he has ever since). By getting into their heads (most notably, emperor Constantine the Great... and Fox News), he got them to reject the other gods. He said it: "There shall be no other gods before me." Not only that, but he got them to kill those who wanted to be loyal to their original gods (Muhammad got mad props from God when he came to heaven). So the other gods had to peace out to another part of the universe (probably some far galaxy), since nobody cared about them anymore, and we haven't heard from them since. What shame. I hope, where ever they, that they aren't too beat up from God's hostile takeover.

Even though His main objective was achieved, God's plan didn't end there. He managed to kick Hades out of Hell (poor Hades, he was glad Zeus finally got his) and has used as his bargaining chip against the humans who refused to tell him how great he was everyday. He saw that when the humans work together, they become a formidable force. The humans wanted to show their power by building the Tower or Babel. Oh no! God could have none of that. So he got back into the humans's heads and started to confuse them. That's when he enacted his grand scheme - Racism. God felt pretty good about himself: "Well done I have." And just to tie up any loose ends, God made the humans believe in the story of the Curse of Ham. Oh let's not forget how he got his pasty white european son to remind everybody of how great he is (God made sure that the Middle Eastern and Egyptian sun didn't give his son a tan like Pauly D or the Situation, by his grace). With his power finally consolidated and his systems in place, God could sit back and retire to his glorius shadows.

Recently I tried to reach out to Zeus but my cellphone coverage doesn't exceed our solar system. Nor could I find an intergalactic postal service. I wanted to tell him that we need him and the other's back. Oh man.. God SUCKS! (clearly Earth and humanity are too much for him to handle on his own). I mean, at least when Zeus was king of the gods we had racial equality and tolerance. Ok sure, back then, it was ok for old pervy men how to have 13 year old boys as sex toys but seeing how well God is performing today, I'm going to assume that area was under his jurisdiction.
This is satire btw... and I am an atheist :-P

Anyone retrieve a swing keel sailboat with a flatbed/low boy trailer?

I was given a 22' chrysler sailboat. This has a draft of 1'11" with the centerboard up - I've had no luck finding a cheap, rental, or loaner trailer locally - but I do have access to a 16' lowboy.
